Software and Database Development
We specialise in records management, document
management, imaging, scanning,
barcoding
and RFiD solutions.
We can also modify our standard package software to meet your requirements:
Alliance
Imager
Alliance Imager is document management and document imaging software which transforms paper documents
into electronic documents that can be viewed, edited and distributed
within a PC environment and manages both scanned and electronically generated documents
such as Microsoft Word,
Excel and Outlook
in a searchable database.
Alliance PaperChase
Alliance PaperChase records management software uses
barcode or RFiD technology to monitor the movement, archival and destruction
of documents, files, cases and archive boxes. Full audit trails are
maintained and file destruction is supported by the use of retention
(destruction) schedules.
Alliance
BatchScan
Alliance BatchScan provides a volume document scanning solution
for TWAIN or Kofax compatible imaging scanners. BatchScan may be used
as a standalone solution or integrated with Alliance PaperChase or Alliance
Imager. Suitable scanners include Fujitsu, Kodak, Canon, Panasonic, Bell+Howell
and Xerox.
We develop customised scanning software using the Twain
standard. Scanning can include barcode reading (1 dimensional or 2
dimensional) and Optical Character Recognition. Image files may be saved in TIFF,
PDF, PDF
Searchable or PDF/A
formats.
We develop imaging software using the Kodak/Wang Imaging
for Windows document imaging SDK.
We develop software for Mobile
Computing solutions including Windows Mobile Pocket PCs (PDAs).
We develop software for Barcoding and
RFiD systems.
Custom development of solutions using Microsoft Visual Basic
and Visual Basic.net and SQL compliant databases (such as My SQL, SQL Server,
Access and Oracle) are undertaken.

Agile Software Development
We are uncovering better ways of
developing
software by doing it and helping others do it.
Through this work we have come to value:
Individuals and interactions over
processes and tools
Working software over comprehensive documentation
Customer collaboration over contract negotiation
Responding to change over following a plan
That is, while there is value in the
items on
the right, we value the items on the left more.
