The Fujitsu fi-5530C colour scanner redefines the desktop scanner landscape offering a compact A4 and A3 automatic document feeder in its class at a highly competitive price. As such the fi-5530C is the perfect choice for de-centralised document image capture. 
The fi-5530C’s innovative space-saving design ensures that the scanner can be positioned on even the smallest of desk areas.
When not in use the output tray can be folded away keeping the footprint to a minimum. The scanner impressively scans at 35 pages per minute in colour, greyscale and mono at 200 dpi in A4 portrait format, or 50 ppm in landscape format. This latest generation scanner even doubles the number of pages in duplex mode, reaching speeds of 70 images per minute (portrait) and 100 ipm (landscape).
With true 600 dpi output, and no interpolation, superb image quality is ensured and a variety of image processing functions enable the enhancement of even the poorest originals.

The fi-5530C’s unique ultrasonic double feed detection prevents two or more sheets being fed through together. Designed with the user in mind, scan and send buttons allow “one touch operation” making the scanner very easy to use.
Page rotation and automatic paper size detection is available through the driver to increase productivity. In addition, an imprinter option is available that enables documents to be endorsed with up to 40 characters once they have been scanned. The scanner has a dual SCSI-2 and USB 2.0 interface providing true plug and play flexibility.
Bundled with the scanner is Adobe® Acrobat® 7.0 Standard which enables users to create Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files, the de facto standard for electronic document distribution worldwide.
