Document Scanners
Document scanners scan paper documents and save them as images. Some
scanners offer both Flatbed and Sheetfeed (or Automatic Document Feeds).
Sheetfeed-only scanners are typically faster than dual purpose scanners. We supply Document Scanners from Fujitsu,
Canon, Kodak,
Panasonic, Bell + Howell, Xerox
and others.
Barcode label printers print high quality bar-coded labels on
a variety of media including paper and synthetic materials. We supply Zebra barcode label printers and
media, and Zebra
mobile printers. Zebra offers a range of different printer lines to meet
the needs of any user. The printers vary from the industrial-duty Xi
Series, to the Desktop line, suitable for any office desktop.
Barcode scanners are a key part of automatic identification (AutoID)
applications in a range of industries. We supply and program Motorola-Symbol,
Baracoda, Opticon
and Janam barcode
scanners. Barcode scanners are a key part of automatic identification
(AutoID) applications in a range of industries.
RFID label printers print a label with text and (optionally) barcodes. At
the same time as printing, the RFID chip in each label is programmed. We supply Zebra RFID tag/label printers and media.
RFiD is Radio Frequency IDentification.
It is an automatic identification technology whereby digital data encoded in an
RFiD tag or “smart label” is captured by a reader using radio waves.
RFID Scanners (or Readers) read RFiD tags. We supply HF and UHF RFID tag/label readers.
Alliance PaperChase Records Management software can use RFID tags ("smart
labels") instead of or as well as barcode labels for records management,
file tracking and archiving.
Mobile Computing is the ability to use
technology 'untethered'. We have Mobile
Computing solutions with Opticon
and Motorola-Symbol
PDA (Pocket PC) barcode scanners. Mobile computing can include
laptops, mobile phones, PDAs and other mobile devices. Connectivity can include
Wi-Fi, bluetooth, GPRS or occasional physical connection.
We supply and install Servers, Desktop PCs, Notebooks and other hardware.
