Alliance Imager evaluation installation

Alliance Imager document management and imaging software scans paper documents into electronic documents that can be viewed and edited and provides Document Management of scanned and electronically generated documents (such as Microsoft Word or Excel) in a searchable database.

This evaluation version of Alliance Imager includes demonstration data to allow you to get started quickly.  This database is installed on the C: drive of your PC.

To install an evaluation of Alliance Imager please follow steps 1, 2 and 3 below:-

1) Download and Install Alliance Imager (Version 2.01.02):

Click ImagerInstall.zip and select Open, then double-click Setup.exe and select Run, click OK and press the large button in the top left corner.

(Alternatively you can save the ImagerInstall file to your local disk, unzip it and then run Setup.exe)
(Note: This download is approximately 12Mb)

If you see messages (such as "A File being copied is not newer ...") telling you you are attempting to install a File which is older than the existing File, choose to Keep the File.

If, at the end, you see a message "Path/File access error", press Retry

This installer will add Alliance Imager to your PC menu.
Note: The first time Imager is used it may insist on re-booting the PC

2) Download and Install  the demonstration database for Alliance Imager 

These files provide a demonstration for use with an installed version of Alliance Imager (see above).

Click  ImagerDemoData, then select Run to unzip the demonstration data. Unzip it to C:\  (this will create a folder 'Alliance' on your drive C:).

3) Download and Install  Imaging for Windows (if you are using XP or Vista)

Imaging for Windows is required for this demonstration. If you are using Windows 2000 or earlier you should already have this.  If you are using Windows XP you will need to download it (unless you have already done so).

Download Imaging for Windows 14-day evaluation.  
Save the downloaded file into a temporary folder, then run 'imaging28_eval.exe' (by double-clicking it) to unzip the contents, and then run 'Setup.exe' to install.
